  • Campus GuidelineLocation - Mumbai, Maharasthra (Research) This research project focuses on developing campus design guidelines with a strong emphasis on mobility, movement, and spatial efficiency. The study explores street hierarchy within a campus setting, analyzing primary, secondary, and tertiary circulation to establish clear movement patterns for pedestrians, cyclists, and service routes. Alongside mobility, it proposes corridor and pathway strategies to enhance connectivity, safety, and comfort across the site. The research also includes a detailed assessment of street furniture—such as seating, signages, lighting, and resting points—with implementation possibilities that strengthen user experience and campus identity. Through diagrams, mapping, and visual clarity, the project aims to establish a structured framework for designing functional and user-centric campus environments.

  • Mobility CorridorsThis research examines mobility corridors as the core framework for smooth campus movement. It evaluates pedestrian paths integrated with bicycle tracks to support sustainable travel, along with ramps and universal access routes for barrier-free circulation. Strategically placed EV-shuttle drop-off zones are assessed for efficient campus entry. The study also considers controlled vehicular flow to reduce conflicts among pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles. Together, these components create a safe, inclusive and easily navigable campus mobility network.

  • Thirds SpacesThis research explores Third Spaces as the informal social layer of campus life, connecting academic, residential and recreational areas. It emphasizes their role in supporting daily interaction, relaxation and cultural exchange beyond formal learning. The study identifies key typologies: pause points for rest and spontaneous conversation; plazas and courts for gatherings and student activities; and promenades that link these areas with walkable, landscaped edges. Together, they form a cohesive public realm that promotes comfort, inclusivity, accessibility and campus identity.

  • Residential TowerLocation - Malabar Hill, Mumbai This project focuses on the redevelopment of an existing residential block at Malabar Hill, transforming an aged building fabric into a modern, efficient vertical housing system. The proposal envisions a new residential tower rising up to 80 meters, addressing both spatial upgradation and increasing housing capacity within the premium urban context. The design explores an optimized floor plate, enhanced structural systems, and improved spatial layouts to meet contemporary living standards while retaining the essence of the site’s legacy. The redevelopment approach integrates natural light, ventilation, and landscape edges, creating a healthier living environment and a renewed skyline presence. The project aims to revive the site with improved amenities, resilient infrastructure, and a future-ready residential identity.

Itis envisionedasamixed-useinstitutionalfacilitythatbringstogether administration, learning, research, and community engagement under one cohesive architectural system. The program interlinks administrative offices with adaptable studio spaces designed to accommodate evolving academic needs, while a café anchors the complex as a shared informal hub that encourages dialogue, collaboration, andinteractionbeyondstructuredworkenvironments.

The design process involved extensive exploration through schematic sectional studies that examined how natural light enters and animates interior volumes, the spatial hierarchy between public and semi-private zones, and the articulation of structural elements. Parallel to this, a conceptual physical model was developed as a tool to refine massing, evaluate circulation loops, and assess the project’s relationship to its urban context, edges, and approach sequence. Through the iterative development of both drawings and physical representation, the project strengthened capabilities in conceptual thinking, spatial planning, and visual communication—translating abstract ideas into clear architectural intent supported by technical reasoning and presentation clarity.

Campus Guideline

Location - Mumbai, Maharasthra (Research) This research project focuses on developing campus design guidelines with a strong emphasis on mobility, movement, and spatial efficiency.

Mobility Corridors

This research examines mobility corridors as the core framework for smooth campus movement.

Thirds Spaces

This research explores Third Spaces as the informal social layer of campus life, connecting academic, residential and recreational areas.

Residential Tower

Location - Malabar Hill, Mumbai This project focuses on the redevelopment of an existing residential block at Malabar Hill, transforming an aged building fabric into a modern, efficient vertical housing system.
