G Magazine is an independent, algorithm-free publication created by singer and creator Grace Kinstler (known for American Idol 2021 and Singer 2025 in China). Born out of a desire to break away from the fragmented, short-form nature of social media, this magazine serves as a raw, unfiltered, and complete picture of Grace’s world. It is designed to bypass standard content feeds and build an authentic, direct connection with her audience.

After placing 2nd Runner Up on season 19 of American Idol, Grace began her journey as a professional artist. She’s been hired to perform all across the country at various festivals and events including The Rose Parade, on tour with David Foster, Miss America New York, headlined St Jude’s Dream and starred in “Love Actually” at the Wallis Theatre in LA. In 2025, she was recruited to participate in China’s most popular singing competition show, THE SINGER.

Everyone deals with their own trials and tribulations, but what distinguishes us from one another is how we come out on the other side. It has now been over six years since losing my dad, and only within the last few months have I genuinely felt like I’ve found myself again. My excitement and passion for life has come back, but it’s taken me a while to get here. I enjoy running now- which is insane, but I will happily take it! Of course, I still have rough days, but the life I get to live is beautiful. I relate to this song even more now than when I wrote it in 2024. In life, we all have a choice: let life get the best of us, or get the best out of life. I made my choice, and now I’m living it.

- THE SINGERGRACE KINSTLER IN CHINA I spent three months across the globe in Changsha, China, performing every Friday for an estimated 300 million viewers worldwide. While on the show, my dear friend Mickey Guyton and I competed alongside some of China’s biggest and most established stars. This wasn’t like American Idol or The Voice- it was a competition for seasoned professionals, many of whom already had massive fanbases. Heck, Jessie J competed (and won!) in 2018. Charlie Puth and Michael Bublé were in my season as well. Crazy, I know. I can’t wait to tell you all about it! Most of us have watched a reality competition show at some point, but very few people know what actually happens behind the scenes. So stay tuned for a weekly play-by-play of my entire summer in China-the good, the bad, and the beauty of it all.

- Hi, friends! It’s Grace.
Have you ever felt misunderstood? Like people only see fragments of who you are, never the full picture?
This sentiment has become especially common in the age of social media. We’re constantly feeding pieces of ourselves into a machine we call "the algorithm." A clip here. A photo there. Then another 30 second video that is somehow supposed to represent the entirety of who we are.
This is exactly why I created this magazine.
You may know me from TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, my journey on American Idol in 2021, or more recently, my adventure on Singer 2025 in China. But this space is different. Here, there are no algorithms deciding what you see or what gets buried beneath the endless stream of content. This is a direct line between us. (wah freaking who)
Think of this as your backstage pass to everything happening in my world- from the Vicks stick permanently living in my nose, to new music, upcoming shows, behind-the-scenes stories, and all the little moments in between. You'll hear it here first.
Most importantly, I want this to be a conversation. If there's something you're curious about, a topic you'd love my perspective on, or a question you've always wanted to ask, send it my way!
