VERSE 1
Nothing feels the way it used to It’s always like we’re in some kind of therapy
Can we lay here and just feel it
Breathing in breathing out
VERSE 2
It seems like we’ve forgot to live a little bit
We were always on a journey
We climbed the mountains even though we were only kids
Now all we do is end up hurting
If we don’t find pleasure discovering each other
Are we
Getting closer
To disaster after everything is out of sight
Can we lay here and just feel it
Out of Sight is a slice of grandiose pop, building from Tyler’s gentle yet commanding vocal opening and welcoming piano melody. The number builds to a dramatic, pop-driven chorus, which teases exciting things for the the rest of Tyler’s upcoming 2024 album.
“I’ve been wanting to challenge myself artistically and create something with a huge sound to match the lyrics and the emotions I’m feeling as a performer. “Out of Sight” flowed from an incredible writing session and the result is something I’m so proud of and really captures my evolution – and also sets the tone for the rest of the project.”

For the 'Out of Sight' music video I got to work with director Aaron A (Nelly Furtado, Alessia Cara), who I had previously collaborated with on my music videos for my singles 'Wicked' and 'North Star'.
We found a big open warehosue in Hamilton, ON for the backdrop of the video. I wanted the intimate, personal lyrics to start small and then explore in this larger than life way. The lights and energy of the video really reflect the emotion of the song. We pulled the colors and textures from the photoshoot for the single artwork.
One of my favorutie parts of filming any video is when I get a chance to perform the song. This video in particualr was really focused on my performance. We got a baby pink Fender Stratocaster as a little easter egg to reveal the gender of my baby girl, Lilah who was born just a month after we shot this music video.
