I'd driven through a bad snowstorm to get to the session and almost cancelled, so it almost never came to be. It's an emotional ballad about saying goodbye to a love had and lost. The door is still open to the person to come back if they want, but it's really about accepting the situation and moving on if that's what's meant to be.
