Maestro Horacio Salgán selected 22 of his “Best Works” for this album. The project was born during the period when he performed at Club de Vino, where musicians attending his performances would often come to purchase the sheet music I sold. As part of a project initiated by my father to promote and preserve Salgán’s music, I created this album based on the selection made by the Maestro himself. It was one of many projects that we conceived together with the purpose of preserving, sharing, and bringing his music to new generations. Taking inspiration from his own words, as he wrote in the foreword to his book "Curso de Tango": “I sincerely hope that this album will be useful to someone.” 🎹.
