Westside Whimsy, the new set by Allel/ArtClub/Def Jam’s Jhené Aiko, scores a #1 debut on this week’s HITS Top 50 chart, powered by strong streams for tracks like “So Good,” her duet with Kendrick Lamar. This is the soulfully inventive Aiko’s first release since 2020’s acclaimed Chilombo and a very nice look for Tunji Balogun and team, who are not fans of our brand of whimsy.
