Carmel Convent Sr. Sec. School, Amlai, organized its first Bagless Day on 4 July

2026, in line with NEP guidelines, promoting experiential and skill based learning.

Students from Classes I XII participated in balancing games, memory challenges, creative crafts, Kho Kho, quizzes, Spell Bee, flameless cooking, book reading, and résumé writing.

The activities fostered creativity, teamwork, physical fitness, critical thinking, communication, and practical life skills.

School, Amlai, organized a Tree Plantation Drive on 8th July 2026 under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign. Students, teachers, and staff planted saplings to promote environmental conservation and increase greenery on the campus. The Principal nurture encouraged everyone to the saplings, fostering environmental responsibility and a commitment to a greener, sustainable future.

Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School, Amlai, conducted student home visits on 11th July 2026 to strengthen the partnership between teachers and parents. Teachers discussed school rules, routines, academic progress, healthy behaviour, punctuality, and eating habits.

The initiative enhanced mutual trust, communication, and cooperation between home and school for the holistic development of students.
